I have been married to my husband, Ethan, for over 18 years. We have one daughter, Hana, who is 15 and one toy poodle, Winston.
What do you like to do when you’re not at school?
I love to spend time with my family, go to LOTS of Phillies games, and go to Disney whenever possible.

I love to work on my 1964 Ford Falcon.

I grew up in Carneys Point, and I was homeschooled 1st through 12th grade. I then went to Salem Community College and graduated with a business degree.

I live at home with my parents, 2 very spoiled dogs, Link and Zelda, and my 19-year old cat (my baby boy), Tigger.
What do you like to do when you’re not at school?
When I am not at school, I’m usually working on commissions (I own an art business), spending time with my boyfriend (who works at the high school, he’s also a paraprofessional), or listening to music (probably Pink Floyd or Steely Dan).
What's a hobby or talent most people don't know you have?
I have two hobbies/talents to share! I have been drawing/painting since I was 12, and I run an art business, selling drawings of pets, people, houses and more!! I also work in theatre. I perform, but I mainly focus on choreographing shows. I work with Oakwood Summer Theatre, Pennsville Summer Theatre, and for the 25/26 season, I’ll be choreographing for both Kingsway High School and Pennsville High School. I’ve choreographed over 9 shows!

My favorite movie is 2001: A Space Odyssey, and my favorite tv show is One Piece!
What’s something that always makes you smile?
When I come home from work, my pets act so happy to see me, and it always makes me smile !!

My first job was choreographer for Peter Pan Jr. at Salem County Christian Academy.

My favorite type of music is either prog rock, or theatre songs. Either of them will get me moving and singing.

I grew up in Pitman, NJ. I went to Gloucester County Christian School for most of my schooling and was homeschooled in high school.

My husband Michael and I both believe that family is important and we do a lot with them. My Immediate family includes my grandparents, parents, and my sister. I do not currently have any pets, but would love to get a dog in the future.
What do you like to do when you’re not at school?
When I am not at school, or on a break I enjoy traveling for day trips (or longer trips). I also enjoy reading a lot.

I taught myself how to crochet and knit when I was twelve. I have always liked to do crafty things, and it's a relaxing mindless activity I can use to destress.

I live with my precious 11-year old rescue dog, who is a yellow lab mix. She is my other half and can always be found right next to me. I also spend a lot of time cheering on, spending time with, and supporting my nieces and nephews with their various sports and activities.

Even though I am still relatively new to the PV district, I really enjoy watching the Graduation Walk. The seniors are so proud to reach this milestone and the teachers love seeing their students "all grown up".
Where did you grow up or go to school?
I grew up in Brentwood, NY and went to Brentwood HIgh School, followed by Ithaca College for my undergraduate degree and SUNY Albany for my Masters.
Tell us about your family (pets included)
I am married, with 3 kids that are currently 20, 19 and 17. Although we usually have a poodle or two as our family pets, we currently have a Dachsund-Yorkie named Toni and a Min Pin mix named RustDi. We also have two barn cats, Ella and Pochita, that can be found lounging in their shelters in our shed or curled up on our front porch furniture!
What do you like to do when you’re not at school?
I have too many interests and too little time! However, when I'm not at school, I love to read, knit, crochet, listen to music, play piano, drink coffee, collect and care for plants, and so much more!
Favorite book, movie, or TV show?
I always struggle to pick favorites, but I love psychological thrillers, both in book or movie form as well as memoirs. My husband and I also love to watch stand-up comedy and try to see a live show a couple times a year.
What's something that always makes you smile?
It's the little things in life that make me smile, a pretty flower in the Spring or Summer, sleeping animals, and beautiful music that gives me goosebumps.
What was your first job?
Technically, my frist job was helping my older brother deliver circulars in our neighborhood, but my very own first job was working at a clothing store as a sales associate. I was a terrible salesperson since I didn't want anyone to spend more than wanted!
What's a favorite quote or saying that inspires you?
My two favorite sayings are "You can do hard things" and "Leave something better than you found it". I think that both of these sayings are applicable in many situations and motivate me to do my personal best in any endeavor, big or small.

Again, I stink at favorites! I love rock, pop, folk, classical, broadway, jazz, hip-hop, and almost everything in between!

We own G & R Farms with 32 Black Angus Steers and Cows, 16 lambs, 3 horses, 2 donkeys, and 1 Labrador, named Koukla. We plant, cut, and bale the hay for the animals.

I love going to Greece every summer. Many of our friends and family come over to visit. Love it, love it, love it!

My favorite tradition is one I created many years ago with my students. We create a Time Capsule while they are in my class . We put pictures , letters, drawings, notes to me, and future goals for themselves in the box. I then invite the students back 7 years later when they are about to graduate high school to open the Time Capsule and reminisce. They love this tradition and so do I.

My husband Joe and I have been married for 32 years, and we have 1 daughter, Bethany that is 26 . We also have dog Ellie whom we rescued 2 years ago from the shelter in Pennsville and we are currently in the process of getting an English Lab that was just born. Hoping to have him by December 24th.

I graduated high school from Salem High School in 1978. Graduated from Rowan University with a BS Degree in Teacher of the Handicapped and then received my Masters of Reading Literacy from Capella University.

I married my high school sweetheart. We will be married for 45 years next May. We have two wonderful and beautiful daughters who have married men that I am proud to call my son in-laws. I have 3 funny and talented grandsons. Hudson 13, Wyatt 12 and Parker 7, who just fill my heart.

My favorite non school activity is being with my kids and grandkids, especially "glamping" in the summer months in Lancaster PA.

Well, I have a lot of wannabe talents. Maybe I will pursue more of them when I retire. I am involved with an organization called Soldier Angels that help support our active duty military and veterans.

My favorite Pennsville school tradition is the senior graduation elementary school walk through. It creates a sense of aspiration for our younger students while allowing the seniors to feel a sense of accomplishment and appreciate how far they have come!

What’s your favorite Pennsville school tradition or event?
I absolutely love the "People's Choice" awards. I have participated in them at the high school and at the middle school and I just love being able to recognize a student just for being a good kid, or trying their hardest, or being accountable. Sometimes there are students we appreciate beyond the bounds of academic performance and I love having a chance to express that.
Where did you grow up or go to school?
I grew up in Tabernacle and Mount Laurel, NJ (I moved in 6th grade). I am a graduate of Lenape High School.
Tell us about your family (pets included)
I have been married to my husband for 10 years, we have a 5 year old son and a 3 year old daughter, and we have a Blue Heeler mix puppy named Muffin. I also have 4 younger sisters and 4 nieces whom I love so very much.
What do you like to do when you’re not at school?
Read. Since I don't have as much free time as I would like it is tough to do other things but I absolutely love reading. Right now I'm on a sci-fi and fantasy kick but I do read a lot of history books as well as books about various social phenomena.
What’s a hobby or talent most people don’t know about you?
I already mentioned it but I like to perform in plays. I have a lot less time to do so nowadays but last summer I was in my first show in 6 years when I was in the musical "Spring Awakening"

My all time favorite show is Parks & Recreation.

When my kids play together and are laughing. Also when my students are excited to see me.

I was a party host and skating "ref" at a skating rink.

I have been married for 23 years. I have a son, Connor who is a Freshmen at Rowan University studying Electrical/Computer Engineering. We have a dog named Mona and two cats-Buffy and Bailey. All are rescued animals.
What do you like to do when you’re not at school?
I like to read, go to concerts and bake.

I do many house projects. I am pretty handy around the house.
