I like to read, shop, and spend time with my family and friends.

I am ordained minister and have officiated weddings for some family and friends!

I have one son named Jacob who is almost 16😬 I have two dogs names Dobby & Scooby and also take in foster dogs when they need a home. I have 3 sisters (2 younger and a twin sister), 4 nephews, and my mom all who live in PA.

I like to go to the gym and take spin classes, hang out with my son & dogs, and go to the movies.

My favorite tradition is one I created many years ago with my students. We create a Time Capsule while they are in my class . We put pictures , letters, drawings, notes to me, and future goals for themselves in the box. I then invite the students back 7 years later when they are about to graduate high school to open the Time Capsule and reminisce. They love this tradition and so do I.

I grew up in Pennsville and went to school here as well.

My husband Joe and I have been married for 32 years, and we have 1 daughter, Bethany that is 26 . We also have dog Ellie whom we rescued 2 years ago from the shelter in Pennsville and we are currently in the process of getting an English Lab that was just born. Hoping to have him by December 24th.
What do you like to do when you’re not at school?
I enjoy finding new restaurants, shopping and my favorite is going to the beach.

My favorite book is The Five People you Meet in Heaven and The Shack. I love the movie Grease and Friends and Grey's Anatomy are 2 of my favorite shows.

Sometimes life can be tough, but staying as positive as possible I've found that it helps keep your spirits up even in the toughest of times. My favorite school event has been whatever puts a smile on the students' faces. Over the years, there have been many which includes but not limited to: Field Day, AR trip, Grandparents Day, Colonial Day, School Concerts, or just having someone special come into read to the class.
Where did you grow up or go to school?
I graduated high school from Salem High School in 1978. Graduated from Rowan University with a BS Degree in Teacher of the Handicapped and then received my Masters of Reading Literacy from Capella University.

I married my high school sweetheart. We will be married for 45 years next May. We have two wonderful and beautiful daughters who have married men that I am proud to call my son in-laws. I have 3 funny and talented grandsons. Hudson 13, Wyatt 12 and Parker 7, who just fill my heart.
What do you like to do when you’re not at school?
My favorite non school activity is being with my kids and grandkids, especially "glamping" in the summer months in Lancaster PA.
What’s a hobby or talent most people don’t know about you?
Well, I have a lot of wannabe talents. Maybe I will pursue more of them when I retire. I am involved with an organization called Soldier Angels that help support our active duty military and veterans.

That's a hard one, but the show that really has made me laugh over the years is Everybody Loves Raymond. It's very relatable to daily life.

Something that makes me smile and I want to get a daily dose of it, is my two grandsons, Wyatt and Parker, as well as my bonus grandson Hudson.

My first job other than babysitting, was working as a waitress at a Bed and Breakfast in Cape May, N.J.

I live with my husband, Adam. We have been married for just about 6 years, together for 8 years. He's an Army Veteran and currently an ED trauma nurse. He actually was a security guard here at the middle school in 2019-2020! We have a son, Colton, who is 1.5 years old. We also have a German Shepherd named Ghost. Basically, we have two kids.

I like to spend time with friends and family. We enjoy going out to eat at new places.

I teach swim lessons.

I have two boys Trevor and Nathan, they are in 9th grade. Both working on becoming an Eagle Scout. Trevor is in the Civil Air Patrol and aspires to be a pilot. Nathan is a drummer and is quite good at it. My husband, Brad, is a security trainer at the Nuclear Plant and in the Air Force.

Coaching cheerleading takes up most of my spare time but also the beach, vacationing, and spending time with family.

My favorite Pennsville school tradition is the senior graduation elementary school walk through. It creates a sense of aspiration for our younger students while allowing the seniors to feel a sense of accomplishment and appreciate how far they have come!

I love exercising, spending time with my family, and working on my side hustle, Speak in Thread Embroidery!

My favorite movie is Legally Blonde!

What’s your favorite Pennsville school tradition or event?
I absolutely love the "People's Choice" awards. I have participated in them at the high school and at the middle school and I just love being able to recognize a student just for being a good kid, or trying their hardest, or being accountable. Sometimes there are students we appreciate beyond the bounds of academic performance and I love having a chance to express that.
Where did you grow up or go to school?
I grew up in Tabernacle and Mount Laurel, NJ (I moved in 6th grade). I am a graduate of Lenape High School.
Tell us about your family (pets included)
I have been married to my husband for 10 years, we have a 5 year old son and a 3 year old daughter, and we have a Blue Heeler mix puppy named Muffin. I also have 4 younger sisters and 4 nieces whom I love so very much.
What do you like to do when you’re not at school?
Read. Since I don't have as much free time as I would like it is tough to do other things but I absolutely love reading. Right now I'm on a sci-fi and fantasy kick but I do read a lot of history books as well as books about various social phenomena.
What’s a hobby or talent most people don’t know about you?
I already mentioned it but I like to perform in plays. I have a lot less time to do so nowadays but last summer I was in my first show in 6 years when I was in the musical "Spring Awakening"
Favorite book, movie, or TV show?
My all time favorite show is Parks & Recreation.
What’s something that always makes you smile?
When my kids play together and are laughing. Also when my students are excited to see me.
What was your first job?
I was a party host and skating "ref" at a skating rink.

I love the quote, "Be curious, not judgemental" from Ted Lasso (though they claim it's from Walt Whitman... the actual origin is unknown... can you tell I'm a history nerd?)

I grew up in Mullica Hill. I went to Harrison Twp. Elementary School.

I have been married for 23 years. I have a son, Connor who is a Freshmen at Rowan University studying Electrical/Computer Engineering. We have a dog named Mona and two cats-Buffy and Bailey. All are rescued animals.
What do you like to do when you’re not at school?
I like to read, go to concerts and bake.

I do many house projects. I am pretty handy around the house.

The Glass Castle (a book) by Jeannette Walls. I like watching documentaries.
